It's clearly a massively expensive inferior product which is unfit for purpose.


General Comments

Purchased the Smeg Fab 28 just over 4 years ago. It was a big, expensive mistake, and we didn't even pay close to the full price, having purchased from an internet retailer. The seal on the door went just before the guarantee, and this was repaired twice (reasonably successfully after having a whole new door fitted). We have the same problem others have with the icebox dripping. The seal on this is now perished, and the icebox door is now broken. The light inside the fridge stays on even when the door is closed, and warms the butter nicely! Only solution appears to be to take the bulb out altogether and get used to having a dark fridge. We have now had enough, and plan to replace this with anything that is functional - I'm past caring what it looks like. A rating of one given because it's so stylish - if you really must have one, take my advice, cut the plug off and use it as a cupboard.
