Easy if limited online banking. A right pain to set up though.
Bad Points
Just about the worst customer service I have ever experienced from a bank
General Comments
The co-op bank recently 'bounced' a new direct debit that arrived earlier than i had expected. The charge that they applied to my account took me overdrawn for less than a week and the next thing i hear they are closing my account down in 30 days!
They have ignored my letters asking them why and today, 8 days before they are going to close me down, and even though i still have funds available, i had my card taken away from me in a shop, a hugely embarrassing situation.
Furious. It is the only mistake i have ever made with my account and I am not impressed.
Their telephone banking system makes it very difficult to speak to a real person. There is no e-mail contact available. The bank ignore customer letters.
