Very poor response to problems that fall outside their 28 day refund period.


General Comments

Am currently in dispute with Carphone Warehouse over an iPhone that was almost certainly faulty when bought, and replaced with a refurbished phone (note: NOT A NEW PHONE) which in turn developed a different fault - and its only two months from the first purchase.

Despite misleading omissions from the salesperson (who didn't mention the 28 refund/return period), reporting the fault in a reasonable period of time, and giving the manufacturer an opportunity to resolve the situation, the manager/team leader at CW still insists that their company policy complies with the sale of goods act and that they will not give me a refund.

I am glad to hear that someone got something back from the Carphone Warehouse, but slightly wearied by the fact that it looks like I will have to instigate small claims proceedings to get what I am after. Nevertheless, I am sending off my formal complaint letter (plus supporting documentation) to CW in the morning, recorded delivery.
