Good Points

I recently went to the doncaster store of Pets at Home. I went to purchase some fish for my husband who very ill. I do not know anything about fish i will admit. I am simply a old woman who loves her cat. Anyway two young men who (i believe worked on this particular department). Were very helpful. They both went out of thier way to help and did not make me feel daft for knowing nothing about fish. If this review was based just on these two young men I would rate 10.9.


Bad Points

Rude. Ignorant and very offensive young (if I dare say it) woman.


General Comments

As I stated in the good piont I was greeted and helped greatly by two young men. Unfortunatly the rest of my visit to doncaster Pets at Home did nnot go so well. After happily accepting some beautiful fish and plants which the young men told me were 'Guppies'. I decided to treaat my cat. I wonderd up and down the cat beds but couldn't reach a particular one. I noticed a young girl in the pets at home uniform talking to what to what i belived to be a customer. I appraoched her and when she saw me standing thier she rolled her eyes and said 'What'. Shcoked by this after such excellent serivice i politely asked her if she could reach this cta bed. She looked at me and said. 'Im busy'
she turned and carried talking to her friend. I then again asked the girl to help as she clearly wasnt busy. She sighed and followed me. Aswell as her friend/collegue. She then threw the bed down to me and walked away. I carried on shopping around the store and as i found a good deal on catfood and cat litter a bent down to pick it up when suddenly the young man from fish. he stopped me and picked both up for me cand carried them to the till piont. He returend to his area. I was disappointed to see the rude girl serving at the till. Which made paying a very painful process. I bagged up my own items and and was about to leave when he again carried my items to my car. He wished me a nice day. I told him what she had said to me and he didnt seem shocked at what I said. He apologised and then told me he hoped my husband gets better and if i had any more questions to look on thier website or to come see them instore.
That was my pets at home experience
