Good Points

Sports coverage is good, but has declined in recent years. Very expensive for what you get though.


Bad Points

Customer service is terrible. They are only responsive if you wish to upgrade. If you want to down grade or cancel, then they mess you about to avoid complying with your request.


General Comments

Been with Sky for 8 years. Had 2 occassions when customer service was clearly designed to exploit rather than assist. On getting multi-room, they charged me for 2 separate services, because the telephone cable had become unplugged. They gave no notice, increased my bill, and sent me a letter titled 'last chance' (this was also the first chance!).

On trying to cancel multi-room after 3 years, I was transferred to a queue where nobody answered for hours, so you have to hang-up and can't cancel. I have tried cancelling by e-mail, but so far only have an automated reply, saying "we'll get back to you". If there was any choice I would not deal with this organisation. They exploit their monopolistic position.
