General Comments

Rented a car in Alghero and paid for it in May. On my arrival at the airport the 19 of june 2009 the rental agent told me there were no cars available. The agent Sicily by car told me that autoeurope rents out routinely more cars than they actually have and it implied that lots of customers were left stranded in Alghero airport. The following day I offered me a SMART car instead of the intermediate car I had booked. As the car would not even take the luggage I declined the offer. NEVER , NEVER in 30 years of booking cars around the globe I was put in such a situation. I have sent 2 e-mails and tried to contact auto-europe over the phone numerous times with no answers. I still have not been refunded the payment. . Will never use auto europe again.
