I used Clairol Natural Instincts Golden Honey (9G) yesterday and now have reddish brown hair. I was pale blonde as a child, but it has now darkened to about the color pictured on the box. I wanted to perk up the color and add highlights and had never put color on my hair before. I should have stuck to what I'd always thought and left that to the experts. I don't like the color results at all, but my hair is soft and shiny. I'm afraid to try any other products as I don't want to damage my hair or get even worse color, so I'm stuck with this until it washes out. Everytime I look in the mirror it will remind me to not take chances like this again. I don't think I'll ever try putting a color on my hair in the future.

Hi, I just read your review and thought I could offer some advice. Firstly, semi permanent color can only make your hair darker, so you should be able to pull out some of the color with Dawn dish liquid. I know it sounds harsh but it works. I'm a stylist and I've seen some disasters. Just use it a few times as a shampoo or even mix it in with your normal shampoo. Another option would be to color again using an opposite to the gold, or yellow, base such as a color that has a blue or green base. Perhaps a color that claims to be "cool". The only other options you have are to let it wash out on its own and hope for the best, or to seek professional help. Hope that helped a bit. I'm sorry your first test with color turned out with poor results. Better luck in the future =)
