Good Points

comfortable Aircondiioned reasonably quiet and poweful when toowing but fragile


Bad Points

Fragility of the drive chin, clutch and gearbox.


General Comments

Bouhgt in Feb 2009 my navara was selected because itt was said to "be tough" and capable of towing my heavy trailers. This is what it does or should I say did after 1000 miles of careful running in it began its working life: troubkle at 6000 with the 4WD/ low ratio selector switch, got stuck in low ratio 20 MPH max in Low ratio 6 th gear! Now waiting for a clutch to be fitted under warrantty at 11300 miles. This is utterly ridiculous, I have 3 Daihatsu fourtraks that are getting to the end of their lives at 135000 miles or so all towing he same loads and the worst clutch , not a Daihatsu part, lasted 29000
