General Comments
I recently bought a black pair of Shaggy Fringe detail flat sandals from Dune.



After having worn them only 4 times the heel has started to disintegrate as it has collapsed and is being scuffed along the ground as I walk. Clearly this is a design flaw which I did not pay £45 for. (Incidentally the ankle tie does hold in a bow either and drags along the ground " this is a minor design flaw which I was prepared to overlook however I cant ignore the product falling apart)



I tried to return them last weekend with the original box and receipt but the shop assistant would not give me a refund.



She claims that there is no design flaw as she has never seen this happen before, and therefore she would not give me a refund. She tried her hardest to say that I must have been rubbing the shoes against a vertical surface like a chair to make the shoes scuff and disintegrate. I pointed out to her that that surface was in fact the ground as the heel had collapsed. Her explanation I ' m afraid assumes I am an idiot and insults my intelligence.



Tellingly while I was in the shop another customer walked in with a pair which had also disintegrated. (the sole had fallen off her new cork wedges) Dune clearly has some quality control issues which I do not think customers should be paying for.



The sales assistant has given me 2 weeks to select another pair of Dune shoes in Lieu of a refund. However given the poor quality of the products I do not want another pair of Dune shoes.
