Good Points

Prices are good (sadly at a cost to service)

Bad Points

Customer services - shocking,
Dishonest returns policy or untrained staff,
Lack of any email replys or a free phone line hamper correspondence.
Early closing times for phone lines means anyone with a full time job who's not able to pop out of work to call will struggle to complain.
Being told your 27th in a queue on the phone at 3pm on a non free phone line sugests massive understaffing or an deliberate attempt to pay for services via lengthy phone calls.
Very dissapointing overall exerience. Scary to think they manage to stay in business with these practices.

General Comments

Ordering is straight forward, like all sites these days. Being my first order I was however limited to billing address delivery for my first order which meant either taking a half days holiday at work or paying alot more and wasting a saturday for my order to arrive at a time Im home.

everything arrives, seems good. I build full computer and it works a treat. About 6 months down the line my graphics card develops a fault, the fans have broken and as such I have to deal with Ebuyer directly for the first time. Now for an Online retailer you'd think it would be straight forward, register complaint via email or form and they'd call you or email you back?

No such luck you have to put a form in, wait for some eamils, then call them on prohibitivly tight times for any working person. It's not a free phone, and you'll be in a queue for 30 minutes before even getting to speak to anyone. Once you've told a person something you could have said in an email they arrange a courier which was a surprise.. my hopes up a little that this poor experience was going to turn out ok, Sadly not....

Ebuyer returns take the graphics card back to look at, "claimed" they found no fault and sent back the faulty card. To make sure I wasnt wrong I tested the card in my machine again, my work machine, my friends machine, my IT manager then tested it in 4 test computers which he test all new components for the office, all 7 computers and nothing from the cards fans on ANY of them, so DEFINATLY NOT WORKING. So what to do now.... I email first to ask how to dispute their claim, or take my complaint further, Ebuyer returns have so far failed to return a single email in 10 days. Their useless not free obviously overclogged with complaints phone lines close so early compared to good retailers so prevent easy calling seeing as I have deadlines at work. And at this moment Ebuyer have essentially taken £200 from me and because they're an online retailer are so hard to get in touch with to forward my complaint without spending more money on their phonelines Im in limbo. I will never shop with them again, and I will never reccommend any store with such shoddy, clearly undermotivated, under trained and understaffed customer returns "service"
