Bad Points

Bad customer service in respect of making a claim.


General Comments

We have used Travel Insurance Web for a few years as they were good value for money. However, last year, we made a claim for cancellation due to death in the family. It took months to process and we had to keep chasing them up. They wanted additional information, a form completed by the G.P. and in the end, they didn't pay out on the basis that, because the deceased was suffering from hypertension & diabetes, this was clearly related to the cause of his death (he died from a stroke).
