3DCART 6/25/09 Very slow search within the site. If you have a customer and call in and ask about an item #, better call them back because it may take 3-4 minutes to find a known item # on your own site with the search. It is better to appear busy than slow. I have checked search times with another site hosted by 3dcart with V3, with a search on an identical part# and it is 3 times faster on search than mine. All I hear is "not on my end" from support and it stops there. If it is not an easy fix, it easier for them to get a new customer I guess. I get emails that say my support ticket has been closed because I have not contacted them within the last 24hrs when I have been waiting on a response from them for 25hrs. The free shipping settings, by $ value when set to be free if orders are over a defined dollar amount, as long as it is under a predefined weight, does not work. It gives free shipping on heavy freight orders if the order is $$ are high enough, and that is a huge problem. Bottom line, if it works for you great, if you ever have a few problems look for another cart because they won't fix the "hard to find for them" problems, only the easy ones. It was good until it was not for me.
