Bad Points

Halifax charge their existing customers 9.50 to transfer funds and then give them a rate way under the published exchange rate. I transfer money regularly from my Halifax account and always get less for my money than my colleagues who bank with other UK banks. For example I was going to change 1000 GBP into euros today - The published rate was 1.16. Halifax offered me 1.12. I'm switching banks now instead.
