Good Points

Great contract value, good perks

Bad Points

Customer service not actually customer service??? Indian call centres (rude ones at that!). They decide to cut off ALL phones under one name if only one has reached it limits WITHOUT WARNING even if you are not due to pay a bill, if your phone is disconnected you need to pay £10 on the day to have it reconnected within 24 hours.

General Comments

My contract with T Mobile is excellent! I pay every bill on time for 18 months and every 6 months I get £60 back each time, score! esspecially good since I get 700 mins plus unlimted texts (which I mostly use - the minutes are for emergancies) BUT WAIT!! What have we here?? I also took out a phone under my name for my other half, they said in carphone warehouse that I would be able to change it to his name they would just have to run a security check, fair enough right? Wrong, have to wait 3 months they told us when we rang them, ok, thats fine, for now keep it under my name, no problem. But hang on a sec! JUST TODAY my phone has been disconnect?? I'm not over my minutes, I have unlimted texts and the bill does not need to be paid until next week. So I call them only to be answered by what you can only describe (politely) as an indian call centre with a VERY rude nature! Explained my situation to him - he then explained to me that yes you guessed it - my other half's phone has run out of minutes, he uses it for work so no wonder! "thats fine" I say staying as calm as I can - "could you please cut that phone off instread of mine then? Don't you think its unreasonable for him to go over his limit and my phone not, yet you cut my phone off? Plus if I have unlimited texts this should not interfere with my minutes, should it?" HA!! "It goes from the account maddam, not from the phone. If you like you can pay £10 minimum today and we can get your phone back on within 24 hours" wtf I think to myself then reply "Why should I pay now when I was going to pay the full ammount of my bill tomorrow, especially when my bill does not need to be paid until next week" then he gave me some cock and bull story about how mobiles are disconnected when they reach their limit, no warning! All the phones under one name can be cut off because of one phone! I start losing my temper at this point and ask him to take his mobile from my account and put it under his name on the bill from now on. He said he can't do that, I say "yes you can as the person we spoke to when we first took out the phones said that was fine we'd just have to wait" - I get a mumble then he asks "are you paying you bill tomorrow in full maddam as then your phones will be reconnected" --- going off subject much?? I repeat my request several times and finally puts me on hold after telling me he will put me through to customer services --- who the hell was I on the phone to just now?? the same man answers and once more says "just make sure you pay your bill tomorrow" - I very snidley remark "I will once I get this MESS sorted AND when I get paid LIKE I SAID IN THE FIRST PLACE!" - he puts me through without a goodbye - not that I expected one - I yet again explain my situation to a not-so-politically-correct drunk sounding irish man who says he will send out the required forms to my partner for him to take charge of his own mobile - THANK YOU I say, after all that I finally get SOMETHING sorted, I still don't have my phone back so I'll be in a right pickle if I need to call someone won't I?? After this experience alone, after my contract is up I will either being going with another company or just going back to my pay-as-you-go.

i think all phones have a credit limit based on your credit file and how you manage the account. they should have sent a text when you were reaching the limit, but it will go on the account not the phone. three mobile set up separate accounts for each phone but it also has its draw backs like when your trying get a good upgrade deal they only look at that phone.
