This katie price, crystal work seemed to juxtapose the typical novel; being shoddily composed, the protagonist and other characters lacking any depth or even like-ability, the vocabulary, imagery and overall descriptive aspects of the piece just completely non-existent.

It is easy enough to conjure some characters, a basic plot (which seems to be lost in an abyss of stereotypical incidents) and a setting. It takes sheer writing accumen to actually develop the carcass of a story into something truly astounding. Metaphorically, this 'novel' could be compared to your average rotting skeleton in terms of flesh and general padding.

There is no connotations of a clear message in this novel. It almost emulates the life of a typical z-lister, and the highlights of coming from a low intellect background, selling your body, being exhaustibly vain (after the twentieth time the apparent protagonist commenting on their looks i think my brain died slightly)

All in all, this bittersweet 'love' story, focused around protagonist Crystal, is a dull, predictable read for those who have no appreciation of great novels, and dull, unintelligent women that are deluded enough to believe Katie Price could be successful in anything other than getting her tits out.
