Good Points

My first claim with them in 2007 was paid within two months.


Bad Points

The stereotype of American health insurance has gone international.


General Comments

I've been using World Nomads since 2005 and have only now submitted my second claim in 2009. The first was successful, but this time around after telling me I would be covered, they have delayed and kept me hanging with infrequent communication and no action. The process of this second claim is now onto the 7th month. During this time they told me they paid into my account, but then, no, they made a mistake and it didn't go through, and will do so. More than half a year later there is no payment in sight and my policy expires soon.
