They kept me fully informed of the demise of XL and offered assistance in processing the claim, which is more than one of the High Street travel agents did to a friend, who found out by chance that her flights had been sub contracted through XL.

General Comments
Way back last year i booked a holiday through Travel Republic using XL Airways. On the day that XL went into receivership Travel Republic sent both a text and an e-mail requesting that i contact them urgently. Travel Republic transferred the Hotel part of my booking to a different Hotel in a diferent resort as i was unable to replace the flights. While waiting the seven months for a refund from the CAA through the ATOL scheme, Travel Republic kept me fully informed of the progress of my claim (even though it was the responsibility of SEGA who handled the claim on behalf of the CAA), and acted in a totally professional and exemplary manner. I would have no hesitation in recommending this Company to anyone. I have also re-booked with them for a holiday this year. Keep up the good work Travel Republic!
