the general air of peace and quiet a short distance away from the main square. plenty of things to do if you you choose to be active, lovely woods with lots of wildlife. staff usually very helpful and friendly. good website but if you need to phone very helpful booking staff.

went on a weekend at elveden with friends from work whereas I usually take the family so a bit different
