Good Points

We had a view of the beach, sea and mountains from our apartment, and beach access nearby.

A lot of space.

TV with dvd player kept us sane, especially on a rainy day when kids couldn't go out!

A little outdoor climbing frame and slide which my eldest daughter loved.





Bad Points

The noise!! From the neighbours and people walking past the apartments.

The food.

The distance you have to walk to get to the main part of the complex from the apartments- it was a long way for my 2 year old.

The shabbiness of the apartment, which was meant to be 'deluxe'.


General Comments

We booked a week's stay in a 'deluxe' apartment at the Haven Hafan Y Mor park. On arrival the apartment was a real disappointment. It just looked shabby- the leather sofas were coming apart, it could have done with a fresh coat of paint and the beds were rock hard and really uncomfortable. And the noise!! It was horrendous, every time someone moved in the apartment above it sounded like they were going to come through the ceiling. We could even hear them having a pee! I actually got very little sleep during the whole holiday because of the noise through the night and the uncomfy bed.

We had a tv with dvd player which was a godsend as we had to stay in most nights because of our kids going to bed early. There was also a quite modern bathroom with a huge shower- only thing was that the water ran out of the shower tray and all over the floor, making it dangerously slippy.

We went for tea in the Lakeside Inn on our first evening...and we never went back. Tables were sticky and unclean, food expensive and very poor quality and service was poor.

The park is a lot bigger than it seems on the map, especially when you have a toddler in tow! We were a long way from the pool and entertainment so we didn't use them.

I wouldn't want to go back and definitely will never go in an apartment again! We went in a gold caravan (park resorts) last year which was much quieter and not that much smaller.
