Good Points

Clean, friendly staff, close to all amenities but still in a quiet part of La Pineda. Loved it.


Bad Points

Fussy eaters might not enjoy the food and can be very busy in the restaurant.


General Comments

Stayed in Hotel Sol Dor in May 2009 with my 8 year old daughter. Read some reviews before we went and admit some made me quite nervous, but it was brilliant. The Hotel location was perfect, a few minutes walk from a beautiful beach and the shops and restaurants. The Hotel wasnt overly fancy but catered perfectly for all our needs, the rooms were cleaned every day and any staff i met were very friendly and helpful. Our room wasnt over looking the pool and entertainment area which was great if we fancied an early night. Some guest staying in rooms overlooking that area found it quite noisy. There was a small kids club but my daughter didnt bother with it as we didnt spend much time in the Hotel during the day. She loved the pool which was spotless and never too busy and the Lifeguard was so friendly and had endless patience with the kids. The food in the restaurant was fine with a very good selection for all. For a change we went to the Dubliner Bar which was right beside the Hotel, lovely food and really friendly staff. We are going back to the Sol Dor next year.
