Sky TV s great


General Comments

The initial introduction to sky on the doorstep presented the products as fabulous. I had long been interested in Sky since seeing its possibilities at a friends house. Communication by telephone is almost impossible. After agreeing to the change over of Broadband, telephone & TV to sky I hadn't bargained on the almost impossible means of communicating with Sky after my TV was sorted,( this is essential to get your broadband connected). Over several days I tried to ring for hours at a time and was unsuccessful . A written letter of complaint has not yet been acknowledged. I finally managed to get through to an operator several weeks after TV installation and was met with a brusque manner. No apology made for the considerable impact of having no internet connection. In fact when I finally got through the operator suggested that I might use the local library instead ! There are clearly not enough people taking the telephone calls at present. Sadly, I wish that I hadn't changed over to Sky. If I knew then what I know now, I would have stayed with Virgin who have served us well. All that glitters is not gold. If things dont improve, as soon as my contract is up I will be leaving Sky.
