Bad Points
The increase in their excess when your animal gets older
General Comments
I have had Paws pet insurance for 14 years and have been quite satisfied with the premiums paid and the claims procedure, they did pay any claims, minus the excess. I have just had my renewal notice, this has increased by nearly £50 which I can cope with okay. What I don't like is that they have increased my excess from £85 to £170.00 because of the age of my cat. I am a pensioner and have to pay for my cat to be treated because I am just over the limit that I cannot claim any state benefits, only my State Pension which I've paid in to. It seems if you work, you are penalised all ways.
