General Comments

I booked flights with US Airways through Expedia. I'd never heard of them before so did my research - it horrified me! The reviews were awful. So you can imagine when I had the best flight I'd ever had - with them!!! I flew Glasgow - Philli, Philli - Vegas. Yes the entertainment is poor but the seats are comfy and spacious, Glasgow to Philli was 7.5 hr and we were fed twice! Normal plane food but Sandwich near landing was lovely. A week later we flew Vegas - San Francisco, the plane was at 9.30am but was delayed (not their fault, plane was held in Dallas due to shocking weather), it was then cancelled at 11am. We were told we would be on a plane at 4 or 7pm but we needed to speak to reservations, went to desk (which had lots of helpful assistants) and they managed to get us on a plane with a sister company at 12.15pm - our bags were all transferred and sorted by them - we were so happy with them.
On our route home we went San Fran - Boston - Philli - Glasgow, bit of a long haul but flights that comfy it honestly didn't feel it. We arrived home safe and sound, not too knackered and along with all our luggage!

I can honestly say that US Airways and United Airlines are a good value airline. The staff were always pleasant and courteous - we even had a few laughs along the way. For the price you pay you get great value for money - GREAT.

Oh, and on our internal flight we didn't get charged for our baggage (on international flights it was free anyway)

    I found this review very helpful because...We have just booked to go to Las Vegas with Expedia and didn't know what to expect. Other reviews are terrible.
