General Comments

Great meal!

While on a short trip finding details for our family tree we arrived in Llandudno. Before we found an hotel, we looked for a place to eat or we would drive home to Stockport. Within minutes we had read the outside menu for 'The Seahorse' (people in at 17.30). The word 'scallops' made the decision.

A friendly greeting, finding a table in the Bistro, and the waiter being attentive made us think that we had made the right choice.

Mild goats cheese with berries and nuts, Thai beef were gorgeous.

Lobster with garlic butter and baked crab thermador (just beats scallops) were excelent. The miriad of vegetables were perfectly cooked, al dente, not half raw.

We had a wonderful pudding they were concockting for a future menu - very nice.

What a lovely close family restaurant.

Good wine list as well.

Also Welsh speaking groups were present, always a good sign when locals eat in a restaurant.
