Could cost you a few pounds if you don't check your bank statements regularly.


General Comments

Just a quick Warning about getting your free credit rating check by using the 30 day trial credit checks offered on Creditexpert.co.uk.
Even if you cancel your subscription with them in writing they will continue to take £6.99 from your bank account until you actually cancel by phone even though they have acknowledged your cancellation by email. Something in the small print apparently.
It is safer and cheaper to get your credit file directly from the credit reference agency (Usually £2). I have asked these people for a refund of £13.98, which they are adamant they will not pay back.
This stinks of a company out to make as much as possible by taking advantage of people in this current financial climate. In my opinion they are a bunch of thieves and con artists and i am now in the process of taking them to court. Please Don ' t make the same mistake, steer clear.
