Good Points

Value, build quality, fuel consumption, reliability.


Bad Points

Throttle pedal was a bit light, so I beefed up the spring so that it took the neutral weight of my foot without accelerating.


General Comments

At the special offer price of 5,995 last September (08), I couldn't resist replacing my Suzuki Alto runabout with the Getz. It was only a grand more than the Alto was 10 years ago and has the advantage of electric windows, power steering and air con. It's done almost 9,000 miles as of June 09 without any problems. It may not have the 'mini-like' handling of the Mk I Alto but is still pretty nimble around town.
