Good Points

Economical, very reliable, still looks reasonably modern especially the estate, comfortable and loads of luggage space.

Bad Points

Poorly treated against rust from new, heater is pathetic even on a hot day the coolant temp is approx 65 Celsius so the heater has no chance.

General Comments

I've had several Maestro and Montegos. They're a brilliant car, rust a bit but soundly engineered. We also have a Rover 600D which is a nice tidy car but I'd have a decent Rover Montego rather than the 600 anyday, its more comfortable for a start. If there were more about I'd have another and I'd recomend one to anybody. If you get the chance to own one do it, you'll have no regrets.
Mike.
