Lloyds TSB have tons of branches, excellent security on the phone, great Internet banking and you get a text every morning with your last 5 transactions and balance.
They are as bad as other banks, the charges are a little annoying, but no worse than others, and it can be a little frustrating talking to call centres, like all other banks. I cant think of anything that makes them worse than others, they are kind of the best of a bad bunch.
I have been reading these reviews with amazement. One guy said he paid out a cheque in which he didn't have enough money and it bounced!! Of course it will bounce and of course you will get a charge!!
Another guy said if i pay money in on a Thursday evening, it doesn't show till Monday morning... most business accounts are 24hrs behind, as it is in the favour of the banks, you pay a cheque out on a Monday morning, the money should leave your account on the Wednesday, but as the account is 24hrs behind it leaves on a Thursday instead. I have been with them for 12 yrs and apart from when they introduced the call centres, i have been nothing but pleased with them. I have had bad patches in the business and they helped me over it massively.
