Food has always been ok

General Comments
After having been at The Scots Bonnet nearly once a month since its opening we were very pleased to find that the quality of service and pub food to be satisfactory, we took all our family and friends as it was a lovely warm family environment. But sadly we have noticed that this has been slowly failing over the months since the opening. On our last visit the night before we left for our holiday we were very sadly displeased with the service the instance went like this "we entered the restaurant at 8.45pm asked for a table for 2 the reply we got was OH wait till I see if we are still serving and left standing at the door, the waitress came back and said yes that will be ok. I asked if we could be placed in one of the booths and again was told to wait until they seen if one was available at this time there were only 4 other tables in use.
Once we were sat down and the drinks order taken and menus given another waitress came up and told us we would have to hurry up and order as the cut of for the last order was 9pm we made our order and decided not to have starters just to go for the main course, as they seemed in such a hurry. We received our food quite quickly but as I had ordered the main course haggis and received the same amount as what you get in the starter I was not very amused but said nothing. The waitress did come up and ask if everything was ok 3 times, came up and asked if we were finished while it was quite evident that we were still eating, came up to collect plates 5 minutes later while my partner was still eating. We asked for a second drink but as the 5 staff were to busy carrying on with each other at the bar, we are still awaiting it. At 9.20pm we had ordered ate and were being shunted out the door, I had bought a half craft of wine with my diner and we were sitting talking while I finished my wine but that was not allowed either as the waitress came back up and asked if that would be all yet once again and then said if you are just having drinks then please go the drinking area to drink them.
Bare in mind that this was only 30 minutes after we had entered the restaurant.
The service was appalling to say the least and I doubt that I will return to this establishment
