the day my insurance expired with direct line


Bad Points

i was involved in a 2mph bump which was my fault. direct line gave better customer service to the 3rd party than me. the 3rd party got an 'independent' engineer to check the few scratches on his car and DL said thay had to 'honour' that-the engineer could have been any tom,dick or harry. they gave the 3rd party £196 and told me they closed the case and wouldnt be paying anymore. they refused to accept my witness statements. a few months later when renewal time came i found out they paid 3rd party a total of approx £4000.people dont get that much when they lose limbs in accidents-never mind a little scratch on the car! truly disgusted with direct line
