Plenty of locations


Bad Points

Seriously overcharged me on drop off fee.
Cars can only be dropped off at certain locations (which is never mentioned by Thrifty staff!!!)


General Comments

I picked up a car from Charlotte, NC airport with Thrifty which included satnav (GPS). Drove 2hrs to Asheville, NC where my friend informed me he had a spare one I could then use. As Thrifty were charging me $10 a day then I tried returning it to the Asheville Thrifty location only to be told that it had to go back to a 'corporate' location. Therefore the next day I had to drive a 4hr round trip back to Charlotte just to return the system.

On dropping the car I was charged $500 drop off fee...five times more than the contract stated I should have paid!!
