Good Points
Compared to its predecessor (S602) and its successor (S9500), there are no good points worth mentioning.
Bad Points
Shutter lag, minimum aperture of F8 (compared to F11 on both the S602 and S9500), inferior image quality compared to the above.
General Comments
I bought a Fuji Finepix S7000 some years ago to update my Fuji S602, I personally found it was a step backwards in terms of image quality and versatility.
I sold the S7000 on ebay and kept the S602 (which despite being about 8 or 9 years old now still works perfectly and delivers great pictures). I bought a S9500 when it came out and found it significantly superior to the S7000. I can only surmise that the S7000 was brought out by Fuji as a stop gap.
