Bad Points
Poor quality overpriced product. Does not do what it says. Poor, ineffective service and ripped off on the delivery charges - £30 charged to try out their inferior product.
General Comments
Avoid The Memory Foam Mattress Firm!
I have successfully used a memory foam pillow for years. When staying in Australia recently I experienced a memory foam topper and was keen to purchase one when I returned.
I tried the 3 inch topper (129.99) from the Memory Foam Mattress Firm and wished I never had. It had no 'memory' in it at all and when lying on my side I could feel the hardness of my mattress through the 3 inches (I am not at all overweight). It was very uncomfortable and I went back to my Ikea topper which was only £50 and very comfortable. Having been aware of the joy of a proper memory foam topper I emailed and said that it was not suitable and I felt that I had been misled as the topper appeared to be a poor quality foam with no 'memory'. ( I used to have a £15 foam mattress topper that was more supportive!)
They never replied to my emails so I called and eventually spoke with someone who said they would arrange a pick up. In the end I called about 5 times over a 3 week period and then they said I was outside my return time!!! Finally someone arrived to pick it up in March and it was at the end of May when I finally received a refund of £97!!!
I have never had to pay to return an unwanted item. I was charged over £30 for the privilege of trying out their low standard product!
