Good Points

Quiet and smooth. Ball bearings at all pivot points. Easy assembly.

Bad Points

Short, bouncy stride very uncomfortable. Pressure on hips and lower back. Poorly engineered computer console that lacks backlighting and is difficult to see in dim or very bright ambient light. Computer console instruction manual might as well have been written in Greek. Not a good choice for anyone of medium height or above. Overpriced for a very basic unit employing old technology.

General Comments

I find the Kettler Mondeo very uncomfortable to use for any length of time. The stride is short (16 inches) and bouncy. The non-articulating pedals will put your feet to sleep after a little more than 30 minutes of use. The computer console has no backlighting, making it difficult to read in dim light and the computer is very unintuitive. The computer console instruction manual is very poorly written and instructions are incomplete and difficult to understand. This is a rather antiquated machine that is way overpriced. I would not recommend this machine for anyone over 5 feet, 3 inches tall.
