Good Points
very good site 10/10 for location fantastic beach and beach restaurants. very clean and comfortable accommodation. reps very helpful and friendly.quite time to go September if you want to relax.

Bad Points
a car is essential to see the local area as the site is in a area on its own. quite expensive on site. could get very crowded in peak season, give it a miss at this time if you like to relax. cambrils found the locals not very friendly!

General Comments
myself, hubby and boys aged 8 and 15 stayed at playa-montroig at the beginning of September 2008 last year.i must say key camp and euro camp reps worked wonderfully together, nothing was a trouble to them.the accommodation prestige, very clean and comfortable.wonderful veranda to sit out in the balmy evenings enjoying the barbeque and a glass of wine supplied by the well stoked supermarket.the beach is a walk through the park lined with large pine trees and perfumed flowers.the site is exceptionally clean and well maintained.the beach has restaurants which we found very welcoming and fantastic sea food..amazing even the boys enjoyed it.the scenery while eating is awesome watching the sun go down...so peaceful.however this does change at the weekend when the Catalonia's descend on to the site at weekends...ok it is their country! the site also has a large landscaped pool area.my youngest loved the pool and we couldn't get him out until closing time at five. at the time of the holiday not all facilities were open, which was fine with us.the takeaway was very good value .the site restaurant was ok if a little pricey.the bar area is very chic and a great selection of cocktails alcoholic and non-alcoholic....don't forget to take plenty of euros...which is a point.don't take travelers cheques it is really difficult to get them cashed.we traveled a couple of mile to Miami to cash cheques at

a santander bank..most banks in Spain are private..long time since iv holidayed in Spain. cambrils was worth a visit we did find the locals not very friendly in one restaurant.
