Shockingly bad customer service with unacceptable arrogance. Messages on this forum are quite clear. Stay away from T Mobile


General Comments

My wife was sold a contract by T-Mobile intended to cap mobile usage for our 16 year old daughter. Whilst we made it clear to the staff that is what we wanted, they still had her sign a contract that was NOT suitable for our needs and the salesman there obviously blagged it. Unfortunately we did not realise until our daughter ran up a bill of £140 recently. When my wife went into T Mobile shop (SOLIHULL!) she was met with arrogance by the manager who quipped "well you signed the contract!". Indeed that is true and whilst we accepted that and asked that we transfer (as was original intention) they said "No" and followed up with "Unless of course you want to break the 18 month contract in force which will result in you having to pay circa £400". Not interested in coming to a fair solution. The "couldnt care less" attitude seems to be a common factor for T Mobile from this forum. I for one will not go without a fight with these bad customer practices (things will get better from Sept 18th onwards when there will be greater control from Offcom but for now one just has to keep at them!). SIGN WITH T MOBILE AT YOUR PERIL! IF YOU GET A PROBLEM THEY DONT WANT TO KNOW. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
