General Comments
The Creative Zen Stone Plus 2GB is an utter turkey and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The battery life is so short as to be impractible and each time it dies, my PC doesn't recognise it, so I can't recharge it. The only way to get it going again is to download - every damn time - the firmware through a Creative tool called MP3 Player Recovery Tool. This blows away all my files and I then have to reload the music all over again. At first I thought I'd bought a dud unit and I had it replaced. Exactly the same problems occured with the new unit. You don't have to buy an iPod but don't waste you money on a Zen Stone Plus!
