General Comments

I am glad to have found this site as I have been staggered by Marbles recently. Firstly they withdrew my available credit limit from aroun 6k to 800 pounds. On the basis that I hadn't used this available credit, although the reason for this was that I had paid off the card, but did want to continue to use it. I rang them but got nowhere.

Secondly my interest rate is now 34%!! Crikey that is ridiculous! Ii have now paid off the card in full transferring the balance. I cannot understand how now they are part of HBOS that they are carrying on with this awful interest rate rise. I am a Halfax customer and my halifax card is nowhere near this! How can they get away with this, especially in the recession!!!

Thirdly I have checked my credit file and my credit rating is classed as excellent..Ive never missed a payment and always paid on time my whole life, so that suggests im lower risk. So why would my available credit be taken away with no real explanation. The only thought I have regarding this is that I hadn't used the card for 6 months or so following paying it off, and then started to use it again.???

Marbles customer services are shocking, terrible customer service!

What has happened to Marbles - It used to be a decent card - not anymore - beware!!
