- Value for money
cost/benefit is not in line with expectations. It costs too much to be useless after 3 months. At the moment paper books are better for travellers.
General Comments
after 3 months the Sony Reader Digital Book PRS505S screen has issues which prevent reading of books.
sony states not covered by warranty but as no damage to unit the screen is just not robust to take normal travelling so product is not living up to expectations from an electronic e-reader.
e-books are not cheaper to justify the expense of the e-reader if it is not able to perform for longer than a few months
