Good Points

Efficiency is supplying courtesy car and initial correspondence


Bad Points

Getting straight, consistent answers and lack of assurance that they are working to one's best interests. They have a policy of taking 35% of the car's value off the settlement fee as salvage value if you decide to keep the car - way over the odds - someone is making money out of this!


General Comments

I have recently has an accident which was entirely the third party's fault. Sheila's wheels were very efficient in supplying me with a coutesy car and taking my own car away for assessment, as I would expect from the premium I pay. Unsurprisingly the car is a cat C write off as only worth at best £750. This is where i feel Sheila's wheels have lost interest and have not been working in my best interests to get me the maximimum settlement from the other insurance company. I found the person I dealt with aggressive, dismissive and generally unhelpful. He was also contradictory and it was a little disturbing that it wasn't until half way through our third conversation that he realised the accident wasn't my fault, which I had to point out when he tried to subtract my excess from the settlement figure. He later denied this.
