Good Points

Claims paid out reasonably quickly


Bad Points

The cost and the fact they really do not care that i may have to have my dog put to sleep as i cannot afford the premium they are now asking for this year. Customer service is rubbish


General Comments

I would not recommend M&S to anyone now. When i first took out pet insurance for our dog it cost £20 per month. He then developed Epilepsy when he was 2. Each year my policy has doubled, last year it was £64.99, had my renewal in today and the premium per month is £104.99. We can afford to pay this for our dog, but what alternative do we have!! We cannot change insurers now, admittingly they pay promptly and pay us about £100 per month for his meds, but isnt that what insurance is all about. I am disgusted with M & S, they say they care about our pets and we wont have any worries with their insurance..well i for one have worries about it especially this year!
