Having purchased the camera system ( £650) the site suggests some "buy together " items, such as SD cards. I had not researched the price of accessories and assumed wrongly that I could rely on the seller and "buy together" would normally mean a good dealat £39.99. Subsequently discovered the identical 8GB card available through Amazon at £12.49. I contacted buyacamera by phone and was told that I should have researched the price more thoroughly and there was nothing they could do to help.Despite selling many cameras I was advised that they did not purchase cards in sufficient numbers to be competitive. Over three times the price I dont think so! DO NOT BUY MEMORY CARDS FROM THIS SITE.
General Comments
I purchased a new camera system in May 2009 from Buy A Camera and was pleased with the service and price of the camera. Do not purchase SD cards from this company. See bad points.
