Bad Points
Unreliable to send Faster Payments!
General Comments
The Faster Payment system has been introduced for more than a year, but Halifax is still struggling with it.
Every time there was a request, 'You have selected today's date. On this occasion we're unable to send this as an Immediate Faster Payment. Your payment will be sent on 12/06/2009 using our bill payment service.' It only means by BACS next day so the receiving bank will not have the funds available to me before next Wednesday 17/06/2009.
If they can't send Faster Payment out now, why can't they send Faster Payment out later or any later day? My funds will have to be in the loop for almost a week, why can't they do better?!
