Delightful cabin crew
Bad Points
Lack of leg, and everything else room on board.Temperature in cabin. Smelly toilets. TV screens in middle of aisles some of which did not work and the audacity to sell headsets when on both occasions the film had not finished before the monitors were switched off for landing.
General Comments
Flew return flight from Newcastle to Lanzarote in March 2009 with Thomas Cook and found the cabin crew to be absolutely first class. My husband and I have flown the same journey and airline in the past but have always thought the cabin crew were to say the least unhelpful. However, the flight was still unbelieveably uncomfortable and the temperature on board made things worse. It was so hot and there was no way to cool down, being packed in like sardines the body temperature from fellow passengers added to the problem. We did not buy the meals and after seeing what was served we were glad we did not. Sausage and mash (only enough to feed a sparrow), bun, piece of cake and cup of tea or coffee for £6.50, I don't think so. We prefer to eat in the airport before boarding. The food although usually overpriced too is edible and you can eat without giving the impression your arms are superglued to your sides.
