Good Points

Fast server based in Germany.


Bad Points

Server protacol limited.
Terrible Control Panel functionality.
Fraudulent Accounting practices.
Communication virtually non-existent.
NEVER USE 1&1!


General Comments

Servers located in Germany and not in the UK as advised before setting up an account with 1and1. Important aspects of my website failed to function and programmer informed me that the server was not able to handle script correctly! I duly moved my website to a UK server and all worked fine.

Cancelled my account with 1&1, but several months later they still took money from my PayPal account, and months later have yet to rebate me! Without notice, I have today received a demand from a Debt Collection Agency demanding money for something which was not provided to me by 1&1 - Their Billing Department are idiots!
