I've had a Suzuki Burgman for about 5.5 years and put 40k miles on it use it for daily commuting in all weathers and I mean ALL weathers. Originally had Conti Black Hoop on it, changed for Michelin Gold Standard - much better.
Its been fairly reliable, serviced every 6 months. I'm 5'11" and its comfy to sit on, good storage. I can get a laptop bag under the seat. I get great gas mileage 70mpg (UK Gallons) pretty much regardless of how I ride it. Stable, sure footed in the wet, stops on a dime. I'd buy another. I mostly use it on ordinary roads. Exceptionally well balanced at low speeds. I'd buy another one but they are a bit pricey.
Servicing, everything under the hood is sharp and scratchy!
Like seemingly all scoots, the quality of the exhaust is crap, damn thing rusts away like nobody's business. Had to change the belt at 37,000 which was a tad pricey. bottom end of the frame tends to rust so watch out for that.
