Good Points

It did remind me of Disney Orlando but smaller. The park was clean.


Bad Points

We had to wait one hour in line just to buy our tickets - half the sales windows were closed and it was a holiday Friday. Not to mention that the price to get in was outrageous!

One of our first rides - Autopia - meant another one-hour wait and lanes 3&4 were closed with so many people in the park. Most of the other rides meant very long waits as well. Okay, so it was a holiday Friday, but at least if the atmosphere could have been friendly and up-beat like in Florida.

In the afternoon we decided to get a Ben&Jerry's ice cream. Again we had to wait while staff was restocking the cart. It took 4 people to work on opening boxes and sorting things while customers just stood there and waited instead of one of them perhaps serving the customers..and they had no Chunky Monkey even though they had it up on their list of flavors.

At suppertime, some of the main restaurants closed even though the park was open until 9 p.m. and it was still full of people. The steakhouse was still open but was completely full. The Golden Nugget was closed and so was the Blue Lagoon. We finally ate at the fancy Walt's restaurant. It was nice but nothing exceptional and again, the service was just not the way it should be in a family theme park...you know, happy, pleasant, up beat.

I guess I was disappointed because I missed that fanfair and party atmosphere. I just thing the Americans can do a much better job at entertaining their guests. Disney Euro was built in the wrong place for many reasons.


General Comments

Luckily my son hasn't had the Disney Orlando experience yet so he enjoyed it. It was just worth experiencing his complete thrill as he saw the castle - he had no idea we were taking him to Disney. That was the highlight of my day.
