Good Points

Well coached sales staff. Good knoweldged of company and product.


Bad Points

They don't leave your home!! Extremely aggressive sales technique. These guys have been on one hellofa course!


General Comments

My husband received a cold call from SPACE Kitchens whilst at home one day. We were at initial stages of discussing renovating our kitchen. He was told that if he accepted seeing a Rep that same night we would get 50-60% discount with a free appliance of our choice (too good to be true?) and the quote was valid for 24 months. He agreed, as we would only be looking at proceeding in about 8 months time. The Rep arrived promptly at 7pm, very friendly guy but seemed put out that my husband had been called out to an emergency at his surgery. We proceeded with the measurements and a very lengthy company sales pitch began. By 9pm we were nowhere near discussing the price. My husband arrived home surprised that the guy was still there. By 9:30pm I was tired, hungry and began pushing for a price - my husband tried to escape to his computer in the study. Finally, our small 6.1m.sq. kitchen came in at over £21,000!!! Are they mad??? Without a wall tile or floor tile in sight!? Then the explanation about the pricing structure began... Oh boy! By 10:30pm we'd had the manager on the phone 3 times, pressurising us into signing paperwork on the spot. We were by no means ready and these guys wouldn't take no for an answer. When the salesman realised we were not going to budge the brochures, plans, quotes all quietly disappeared back into his bag. My husband even offered him a lift to the station and was told by the Rep that he'd left a whole lot of information with me, which he hadn't, and that he'd call to see if we could still work something out. I don't think we'll hear from Space Kitchens again - perhaps this is a good thing?!
