My excess was £400, not £300! My fault for not reading the info closely enough when signing up.


General Comments

Filed a Swiftcover Car Insurance claim online, then they phoned to clarify information. There were loads of things I needed to be 'aware of', but the bottom line was that they wanted me to use their approved repairer, which was 65 miles away (we live in rural Devon). I wasn't happy about that, but it turns out they were terrific.
They picked my car up, left a courtesy car and had the work done quickly. Alansway in Ottery St Mary was the garage they used, and they did an excellent job on my Mini Cooper.
