Good Points

generally quick set up out of the box. I like the colour and the open top and collector should have been a good idea.
The roller on the back stripes the lawn as expected.


Bad Points

Flymo Power Compact 400 does not perform on slightly wet lawns (not designed as a GB mower) as the hole the cut grass shoots through to the collector jams up meaning you have to put your hand in to pull out the lumps. The lumps are deposited on the grass meaning extra time mowing.
If pressure is applied for instance when shutting the lid or a clunk on the turning at the end of the garden as you turn the height adjustment slips lowering the mower meaning either more lumps and blockages or the wrong cut length grass and even chewing up uneven lawns.
half way through the season the bolts will need to be tightend in the handle as they shake loose, do it before you loose one of them.
Large amounts of cut grass collects on the wheels and roller meaning when you think you have finished a significant amount of grass lump still remain either on grass or patio which will drag through the house eventually by footfall.


General Comments

Had it for 1 and half seasons and im looking to change it already. the compacter grass collector doesnt really compact the grass and for medium lawns a regular trim is required even then the collector needs to empty 3 or 4 times. It has a cheap feel to it.
